Retirement Planning

Retirement can be an overwhelming and frightening prospect. What do you do now that you don’t have a steady paycheck? How do you make sense out of your 401(k) or IRA? How does PERA affect your Social Security? What if you don’t do retirement planning right?

At Jim Saulnier and Associates, we can remove some of the uncertainty and help you put together a solid, personalized retirement plan.

Our Secure Retirement Income Process™ helps your money last longer. We show you strategies to invest and spend … accounting for inflation, market risk, and your own potential longevity.

An Important Update Regarding Our Planning Services:

For more than 20 years, we’ve offered our retirement planning services to those who wanted a one-time engagement in addition to those who paired it with our ongoing Investment Management. However, due to the continued growth of our firm and the ongoing high demand for our services, we can no longer accept new clients for a one-time planning engagement.

This was not a decision we made lightly, and Jim remains committed to making our Fun Number™ approach to retirement planning available on its own to DIY investors in the future. We are actively working on a hybrid digital/community solution for this group. Our hope is to have it available within a year or so, although we are still early enough in its development that we cannot promise a specific launch date. If that type of DIY relationship is what you were looking for, we encourage you to continue listening to The Retirement and IRA Show® since Jim and Chris will provide updates there as the new service develops.

If you’re interested in pairing our Secure Retirement Income Process™ with ongoing Investment Positioning™, we’re actively accepting new clients for our 2028 planning queue. This relationship involves annual tax optimization and planning, along with ongoing monitoring of your plan and portfolio. If that sounds like the right fit for you, please contact us at admin@jimhelps.com and we will share the next steps to joining our planning queue.
